As a responsible VOIP provider, we want all our customers to receive the best service and user experience possible which means connected calls, clear voice quality and immediate delivery of messages.
The Fair Usage Policy (FUP) is designed to provide this to all our users while avoiding abuse, fraud or unreasonable exploitation of the service that may result in degradation of the service and user experience.
The FUP provides explaination regarding impermissible and unreasonable uses of GoIDD services for internetwork calls, and a summary of GoIDD’s rights in the event that such usage is identified.

FAIR USAGE POLICY INTRODUCTION:
GoIDD Plans are targeted and designed for typical residential users, home offices and small businesses. We aim to avoid the use of the service plans for commercial purposes that require an enormous amount of voice and messaging traffic. This will ensure our network performs at its best for our intended users. Our FUP is set up to provide users with the freedom to make all their free calls and messages without the feeling that they are restricted.
Note that GoIDD may change this FUP at any time. GoIDD will communicate changes of the FUP through our website and to you by email and such changes are effective on posting and delivery.
For residential users, our services are limited to the personal use of the account holder and immediate family who reside with the account holder. For business owners, these services are intended solely for normal commercial use by small businesses and home offices.
Our call service is designed only for continuous live dialog between two individuals. Unusual calling patterns, excessive called numbers and/or consistent excessive usage will each be considered an indicator that usage is exceeding normal usage.
Our service may not be used for auto-dialing, inbound/outbound centralized or distributed call centre activity, telemarketing, fax or voicemail blasting, or for continuous or extensive chat line access, or as an open telephone line as a monitor, intercom or transcription service.
As a general guideline, free calls and messaging within the GoIDD network of customers are subject to a fair usage limit of 3,000 minutes per account per month.
GoIDD reserves the right to review a customer’s account if account usage is beyond normal usage, impermissible or detrimental to our operations or our other customers’ ability to optimally use the service. If we determine unreasonable usage is occurring, immediate mandatory transfer to an appropriate service plan, suspension or termination of the service will occur.
We may assess abnormal usage based on comparisons to the usage patterns and levels of our other customers. A reasonable effort will be made to provide notifications by email and/or telephone to remind subscribers of this FUP and of any potential unreasonable use in order to allow the improper usage to be corrected. Failure to promptly contact us in response to any notifications regarding account usage and/or failure to promptly correct usage activity to conform to normal use will also result in our right to exercise any of the actions outlined above.
You can cancel your service plan anytime by contacting customer service HERE. Cancellation requests should be received at least 10 business days ahead of the next billing cycle date. No refunds will be given for early cancellations or for credit in your account.We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions from this policy at any time by posting such changes here. You should review this policy regularly for changes, and can easily see if changes have been made by checking the Effective Date above. However, if at any time in the future we plan to use personal information in a way that differs from this policy, we will post such changes here and provide you the opportunity to opt-out of such differing uses. Your continued use following the posting of any changes to this policy means you accept such changes.
